DICTATORIAL BEHVIARI OF POLITICIANS IN INDIA

SUSPENDING COLLECTOR BY BIHAR CM

Our political rulers in so-termed democratic system of governance at times behave like monarchy rulers like happened in Bihar when the state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar issued marching-orders for Saharsa collector because the officer could not recognise voice of Chief Minister or his personal secretary on the phone. What happens if the collector responds and acts on a mischievous phone-call made by some person impersonating himself as Chief Minister on the phone? There are routine incidents whereby frauds are found to be using letter-heads of elected representatives posing themselves to be MPs, MLAs or municipal counsellors. However a system can be evolved whereby phone-numbers of Chief Minister and other important functionaries are circulated amongst officers so that they may not be confused about proper identification of the calling authority. But it may create more problems because of possible massive usage for calling Chief Minister etc.
