RAKHI FESTIVAL AT JODHPUR JAIL



Rajasthan Government and National Human Rights Commission should investigate media-reports about different attitude of jail-authorities in Jodhpur in allowing sisters of celebrity-prisoner Salmaan Khan and other ordinary prisoners for celebrating rakhi on with their brothers in prison on occasion of Raksha-Bandhan. According to reports and visual-clippings well-dressed sisters of ordinary prisoners were made to wait outside the jail in hot for hours to take their turn to celebrate the festival till sisters of Salmaan Khan came out after celebrating rakhi with their brother presently lodged in the jail.

Raksha Bandhan is a major festival of India. This festival is known as brother and sister festival. this holy day sister ties rakhi to their brother's wrist.
